Lucca Comics & Games 2026: LEGACY Begins
Lucca Comics & Games is gearing up to celebrate its 60th anniversary with Go Nagai, Frank Miller, Jonathan Hickman, Yoshinori Kitase, Hideki Kamiya and Yōko Kanno, among so many others, confirmed to attend the massive #LEGACY edition.
This year, we celebrate our 10th anniversary with Lucca Comics & Games. Proud doesn’t begin to explain how we feel. It’s an honour, an adventure and a story to be told together. As custodians of their International PR, we make sure the story is told in as many languages as possible, in faraway lands and realms, with respect and imagination.
On 23 June, Lucca presented the 2026 meta-poster by Claudio Castellini at The Uffizi Galleries in Florence. It pays homage to various generations of artists and characters that belong to the festival’s imaginary: Zerocalcare’s golden heroine “Lu”, Don Maitz’s “Sandokan”, Phil Hale’s gorilla with a robot, Ted Nasmith’s Lady Hope, and Ciruelo’s dragon. Finally, supported by a giant superhero, the central figure of the meta-poster is a little girl: the luminous protagonist of artist Michael Whelan’s 2017 “Heroes” poster.
The first release is out, the results are great. This year will be legendary. We will leave everything on the field.
